Outdoor Recreation

 Victoria offers numerous recreation, sports and leisure opportunities for the      City Parks
outdoor enthusiast.
 The City of Victoria has 16 parks and 887.96 acres of parkland. Riverside          Boulevard Park
Park, the City’s 565-acre flagship park, features access to the Guadalupe River,    2204 Rose Street
a canoe, kayak and paddling trail, a golf course, zoo, walking trails, a baseball
stadium, picnic areas, pavilions, a public boat ramp, nature trail, duck pond, a    Brownson Park
rose garden boasting 1,300 blooming roses, basketball courts, sand volleyball       202 N. Laurent
courts, tennis courts, a disc golf course, baseball, softball, and playground

 Recent and notable additions to the City’s park system include:                    101 N. Main
 •	 A Youth Sports Complex, which offers 12 youth ball fields for baseball

 •	 A two-mile trail along the Lone Tree Creek corridor, designed for

 •	 The development of Lone Tree Creek Park in 2013, which includes a
                                                                                    Hopkins Park

 To enjoy the peacefulness of nature, take a short 20-minute drive on Hwy.          Lone Tree Creek Park
59 S. to the Coleto Creek Park and Reservoir. The park contains 190 acres, of           4009 E. Airline
which 40 acres remain undeveloped to enable visitors to appreciate nature in
its entirety. Coleto Creek offers a 3,100-acre lake, a 200 foot fishing pier and    Martin Luther King, Jr. Park

 Saxet Lake, located two miles south of the City limits, features a 250-acre
park with amenities for picnics and grilling. Activities include boating, fishing,  Meadowlane Park
swimming and jet skiing in a lake that measures up to 100 feet deep.                3202 Meadowlane
 Another popular outdoor activity is the Lone Tree Hike and Bike Trail, which
spans 2.1 miles between Victoria East High School and Airline Road. The trail       Memorial Park
draws runners, walkers, bikers and skaters with its fully paved and lighted path.   402 N. DeLeon
 Victoria’s golf courses include Riverside Golf Course, The Club at Colony
Creek and Victoria Country Club. Riverside Golf Course is a public course           Pine Street Community Park
